2025 Summer Open House: Highlights, Innovation & Video Tour
Hortech, Inc., along with its LiveRoof® and LiveWall® divisions, recently hosted its 2025 Open House, drawing architects, landscape professionals, and green industry experts to its headquarters in Nunica, Michigan. The all-day event featured 6 educational sessions and the latest advancements in living architecture, sustainable plants, and innovative green technologies.
Innovation on Display
Guests explored extensive display and trial gardens as well as LiveRoof® green roofing, RoofStone™ paving, and 16 indoor and outdoor LiveWall® installations. A highlight of the day was the debut of LiveRoof SolaGreen®, a fully integrated solar + green roof solution designed for easy installation, increased solar output, and zero rooftop penetrations.
New Plant Introductions
The event also featured 2025 introductions from outside breeders as well as from Hortech’s Original collection, including unique, mostly native selections bred for resilience and beauty. Attendees toured the company’s expansive trial gardens and green roof production zones.
