Paeonia Itoh ‘Pink Ardour’
Blooming Time
Exposure

‘Pink Ardour’ is an early riser, featuring lush mounds of fern-like foliage that emerge in early spring with a deep bronze color, eventually transitioning to a deep green. In mid to late spring ‘Pink Ardour’ sets large globe shaped buds that burst open to reveal interesting cup shaped, double flowers. These raspberry-pink flowers resemble the shape of a camelia, with double rows of large petals surrounding bright yellow stamens. ‘Pink Ardour’ does not require staking as some traditional peonies do; and it easily holds up to wind and rain, making it a great specimen or focal point in the garden.
