Exposure

A spectacularly florific, incredibly long blooming calamint savory, `Montrose White’ essentially flowers all summer and well into fall with loads of bright white, tube shaped flowers. Not only is `Montrose White’ a great flowering plant, but is nice for its shiny green, fragrant foliage and utilitarian qualities. A splendid ground cover, `Montrose White’ is excellent on a moderate to large scale and works well for erosion control, pathway edging, and low maintenance general cover. Predictably, it is also a fabulous companion and combines nicely with many perennials.

A spring application of a 3-1-2 ratio (such as a 15-5-10) can be applied at a rate of about 10 pounds per 1000 square feet, and during early fall, an application of a 2-1-2 ratio (such as a 10-5-10) can be applied to encourage root development and cold hardiness.
Pruning:
'Montrose White' Calamint Savory should be enjoyed all winter long, then, during early April before it begins to grow again, it should be pruned or mowed back to ground level.
