(Image courtesy of Bull Genetics) Ideal for well-drained soils, this perennial sunflower checks all the boxes for nearly any garden; ‘Suncatcher’ has a shrubby habit- reaching 4-feet-tall, making it perfect for the back of the border, and great for use in cut flower gardens. ‘Suncatcher’ is also excellent in containers; in the summer it is smothered by large, sunny-yellow flowers that span 3 to 4-inches-across, nearly obscuring the lush green mildew resistant foliage. A favorite of birds, pollinators, and gardeners alike, ‘Suncatcher’ also plays well with companions.
