Helleborus Gold Collection® Ice N’ Roses® Picotee PP31,184
Blooming Time
Exposure

A robust upright grower with outward facing flowers, Picotee establishes quickly, setting buds at the slightest hint of warming, even in December or January. Its flowering peak is late winter to mid spring, and is characterized by numerous relatively large, white to pale-chartreuse flowers, edged with violet and burgundy. These mature to dark green with age and persist for months. Picotee’s evergreen palmate foliage is leathery in texture, glossy blue-green and looks nice all season. It is best planted in shady spaces with other Hellebores and companions.

Care
Watering:
Ice N' Roses® Picotee Lenten Rose is very drought tolerant and typically only needs watering during the hottest days of summer.
Fertilizing:
Ice N' Roses® Picotee Lenten Rose is a moderate feeder, benefiting from a couple of annual applications of slow release fertilizer. A spring application of a 3-1-2 ratio (such as a 15-5-10) can be applied at a rate of about 10 pounds per 1000 square feet, and during early fall, an application of a 2-1-2 ratio (such as a 10-5-10) can be applied to encourage root development and cold hardiness.
Pruning:
Ice N' Roses® Picotee Lenten Rose is evergreen and does not require pruning. It is normally only pruned for the purpose of keeping it within bounds.
