Panicum virgatum Dream Catcher® Cherry Bomb™ (‘Nonbmob’)
Blooming Time
Exposure

Cherry Bomb™ resembles its namesake; it is cherry-red and round. And, its redness isn’t reserved for fall, like some Panicum. This one is red tipped in spring and becomes increasingly red throughout the summer and fall. Neat, tidy, and easy to pair, Cherry Bomb™ is a versatile plant for use as an accent or ground cover. Late in the season it blooms sparsely with tan florets, and being a sparse bloomer, it allows the redness of the foliage to remain the focal point until frost. Cherry Bomb™ can be mass planted as well as paired, and it is excellent in combination with both native and non-native perennials.
